The 4th Glinka World Soil Prize 2019
The 4th Glinka World Soil Prize award contributes in a timely manner to raise awareness amongst proactive policy makers and the general public about possible solutions to tackle acute national and local problems of soil degradation.
It is meant to encourage all stakeholders and soil practitioners to engage in field-oriented work, with direct contributions to the pre.
The 2019 Laureate is Dr Xu Minggang, one of the most influential soil scientists in China and at global level, has made an exceptional contribution in the dissemination of sustainable soil management practices for increased food security and conservation of the environment.
